ARIA Landmark Roles

The use of the ARIA Landmark Roles can improve site navigability. For example, the JAWS screen reader will announce all of the ARIA Landmarks when a page is loaded, and allows users to quickly jump between them by pressing the semicolon key.

Emergency Preparedness

The configuration of some of the University buildings dictates that individuals who are differently abled or individuals with access/functional needs who may require assistance during evacuation. If no one nearby can be of assistance, Campus Police must be notified immediately by dialing 9-1-1 or calling (609) 652-4390 to assist.
